I made this dress for little G out of an old shirt of mine, a new ribbon, and some appliques I cut out of some fabric I already had. We're not Christian, so this is not exactly her Easter dress. Other little girls get pretty dresses this time of year, though, so here is hers. Total cost of this dress: about $4.50 for the spool of ribbon (and I have a ton left over for other projects).
BTW: that is my dad, holding her.

This is the mobile I made for little G a few months ago. The cranes are hung from a bent coat hanger, which hangs on a string from the ceiling. It has afforded her hours of amusement. She loves to talk to it and wave her little arms and legs.
Total cost of this project: about $5.00 for a big package of origami paper. There was a ton left over that I gave to my brother for making origami for little G's brand new cousin.
